Description
An IR (infrared) sensor switch, also known as a proximity sensor or motion sensor, is a device that detects the presence or absence of objects in its surroundings using infrared light. It works by emitting infrared radiation and measuring the reflection or interruption of that radiation to determine the proximity of an object. The IR sensor switch consists of an infrared LED (Light Emitting Diode) that emits infrared light in a specific pattern or frequency. When an object comes within the detection range of the sensor, it reflects the emitted infrared light back to the sensor. The sensor detects the reflected light and analyzes its intensity. IR sensor switches are commonly used in various applications, including automatic doors, security systems, occupancy detection in buildings, robotics, and more. They offer a non-contact and reliable method for detecting the presence or movement of objects in their vicinity.
Features:
- Its used in the detection of the objects
- It has 5 Wires
- Its Cable length is 30cm
