Description
470 Ohm NTC Thermistor is a special type of resistor whose value changes in accordance with its surrounding temperature. It is made by combining several metal oxides. This is an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) type thermistor. Hence as the temperature increases then, the resistance of the thermistor decreases and vice versa. It provides resistance of 470 ohms at 25° C. An NTC thermistor reduces its resistance with an increase in temperature. NTC temperature thermistors have a negative electrical resistance versus temperature (R/T) relationship. The relatively large negative response of an NTC thermistor means that even small changes in temperature can cause significant changes in their electrical resistance. This makes them ideal for accurate temperature measurement and control.
