Description
This dual Axis PS2 Joystick module uses two potentiometers (one for each direction) to detect the directional movement. Both the potentiometers are of value 10K and can move in any direction independently. There is also a push-button in the module, which can be used by pressing down the joystick.
Dual Axis PS2 Joystick module has 5 pins, i.e., GND, VCC, VRX, VRY and SW. The GND pin is connected to the ground of the circuit, whereas Vcc is connected to the power supply. VRx and VRY pins retrieve the analog signal, which contains the position coordinates of the X-axis and Y-axis, respectively. SW is connected to the push button. This Joystick Module uses pin interface leads of 2.54mm. The operating voltage for the module is 5V. The main application of the Two-Axis Joystick module is controlling robots, pan control for the camera, game controllers, etc.
