Description
The SIM800A Quad-Band GSM/GPRS Module with RS232 Interface is a complete Quad-band GSM/GPRS solution in an LGA(Land grid array) . It can transmit voice, SMS, and data with minimal power consumption and supports the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz bands. Using the USB to Serial connector or the RS232 to TTL converter, the RS232 interface makes it simple to connect to a computer or laptop, or to a microcontroller. AT instructions are used to communicate with the SIM800A. A SIM cardholder and an SMA antenna connector are included.
