Description
This is the PC410 Optocoupler manufactured by Toshiba. A photocoupler or optocoupler is an electronic component that is used to transmit analog or digital information (electrical signals) between two isolated, different circuits by using light while maintaining the electrical isolation of potentials up to 2500 times RMS Voltage. The 'OPIC' or Optical IC consists of a light detecting element (a phototransistor) and a signal processing circuit (an LED) integrated onto a single chip.
